Britt Julious is a freelance writer. She has written for The New York Times, The Guardian, Esquire, Vice, Pitchfork, NPR, and more. Britt is a columnist for The Chicago Tribune. She has also co-hosted podcasts like WBEZ’s “Changing Channels,” and guest starred on “The Morning Shift,” “The Afternoon Shift,” and vocalo’s “The Morning Amp”. To top off her long list of accomplishments, Britt Julious has also served as a moderator, guest speaker, and panelist all across the United States.

The Awl named her one of the “20 People to Follow on Twitter”. Her twitter, cleverly named Britticisms, is one of the many ways she expresses her love for the underdog. While her tweets provide 140 word long snippets of her witty commentary on culture and news, her Tumblr page houses a collection of her best works. Race, gender, feminism, music, and culture are just a few of the major themes that dominate her works.
