AIMEE LE (YOUNG CHICAGO AUTHORS)

Aimee Le is a Dartmouth College graduate who hails from Ann Arbor, MI. She was Ann Arbor Youth Slam Champion in 2008 and has a sizeable cardboard box full of trophies and press clippings, including sharing the stage with ?uestlove and Black Thought of The Roots on DC's Kennedy Center Millenium Stage, and appearances on HBO and the Sundance Channel. Aimee is co-author of the poetry collection Feral Citizens. Her work operates in the liminal space between ancestry and commodity, ranging from refugee histories to love poems about soft drinks. She is a skilled fly fisher, karaoke singer, and bus rider.
